Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information NoPrompt.Tools (“we”, “us”, “the site”) handles when you use the site, and why.

1. Text you paste into the tools

When you click a tool's button, the text and options you entered are sent to our server and passed to Google's Gemini API to create your result. The result is sent back to your browser.

• We do not store it. Your text and results are not written to our database, logs or files. They exist only in memory while your request is being processed.
• Google processes it. Google handles the request under the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
• Please avoid sensitive data. Don't paste passwords, payment details, government ID numbers, health information, or confidential information you are not allowed to share. You can remove names or details before pasting.

2. PDF files

When you upload a PDF in a resume tool, the text is extracted inside your browser. The file itself is never uploaded to our server. Only the extracted text, which you can review and edit first, is sent when you click the button. To read PDFs, your browser loads the open-source PDF.js library from cdnjs (Cloudflare).

3. Usage limits and anonymous statistics

To keep the site free and stop abuse, each visitor can use the tools up to 40 times per day.

• To count this, we store a one-way hash of your IP address (mixed with a secret value) together with the date and a number of uses. We do not store your actual IP address. These records are deleted automatically after about 7 days.
• We also count how many times each tool is used per day, with no link to any person.

Like most websites, our hosting server may keep standard technical access logs (such as IP address, time, and page requested) for security and troubleshooting. These logs never contain the text you paste.

4. Cookies

• Security cookie (np_sess): a session cookie that protects the tools from misuse by other websites and slows down automated requests. It contains no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.
• Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*): used to understand how many people visit, which pages and tools are popular, and roughly where visitors come from. See below.

5. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic. It collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. It does not receive the text you paste or your results. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

6. Other third-party services

• Google Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
• cdnjs (Cloudflare): serves the PDF reader library when you upload a PDF.

7. Why we process data

We process your text only to provide the result you asked for. We use hashed usage counts, security cookies and server logs because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, fair and available. Where the law requires consent for analytics cookies, we rely on that consent.

8. Your rights

Because we don't have accounts and don't store your text, we usually hold nothing that can identify you. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Contact us at the address below and we will help as far as we can. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.

9. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.

Terms of Use

By using NoPrompt.Tools, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. The service

NoPrompt.Tools offers free AI writing tools: polishing messages, translating and summarizing emails, analyzing and tailoring resumes, and writing role descriptions. The service is provided free of charge and without an account. We may change, limit or discontinue any tool at any time.

2. AI results may be wrong

Results are generated automatically by an AI model. They can contain mistakes, miss important details, change meaning or sound different than you intended. Always review results before you send, publish or submit them. Results are suggestions, not professional legal, career, HR or translation advice.

3. Be honest with resumes and profiles

Our resume and profile tools are designed to reword what you give them, not to invent experience. You are responsible for making sure everything on your resume, LinkedIn profile or job post is true and accurate.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the tools for anything illegal, fraudulent, harassing, hateful or misleading, including spam or phishing messages;
• paste content you don't have the right to use or share;
• try to get around the daily limits, use bots or scripts, or overload the service;
• try to break, probe or attack the site's security;
• use the service in a way that breaks Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy.

We may block access for anyone who misuses the service.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the text you paste and to the results you receive. You are free to use the results however you like, as long as you follow these terms and the law.

6. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss caused by relying on AI-generated results, such as a missed job opportunity or a misunderstood message. Because the service is free, our total liability is limited to zero, except where the law does not allow this limitation.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
